The New Zealand Hawkins Contractor going ahead to complete the Kookaburra Flyover within this year.
The New Zealand Hawkins Contractor has been awarded the design and contract for the Kookaburra Street Flyover and Roading project in Port Moresby.
The project comprises a 600m long four lane concrete flyover, just under 2.5km four lane road, side road tie-ins, roundabouts, drainage, footpaths, service relocation, lighting, bus bays and furniture.

The new CITY HALL is a new office for the National Capital District Commission in Port Moresby.
The office was skated by one of the local artists in Port Moresby in own talented vision and dreams.
Previously, the office was located in the Lagatoi Building but in 2013, they have started to build their own office on the other side of the Lagatoi House.

Powes Parkop Wants Port Moresby a Beautiful City.
Mr. Powes Parkop is Fighting Very Hard Today to Build the City of Port Moresby.
Mr. Parkop is not like the other members of the National Parliament in Port Moresby.
He is a brilliant and creative man to organize his team in enhancement the limited shape of Port Moresby, National Capital District.
He talks alot to change the city in both National Parliament House and outside the open public speeches during as an invited guest speaker.
Within the past seven years from he became a member of the Parliament, the city looks very nice and beautiful but some parts of the city looks so- filthy because of illegal and doing unauthorized markets in the city.

The Government of Papua New Guinea today is working very hard to develop Port Moresby and the country.

New Roads Built
The new freeway, Erima to 5 mile road were built recently.
The Governor of National Capital District, Powes Pakop is praised and boasted by the people of Port Moresby because of such developments like this.

Boom in Development Waigani NCD..
Port Moresby is currently experiencing a boom in developments because of the LNG projects in Hela Province (Southern Highlands.)
An example of that is the building boom in Garden Hill. Lots of building and sky scrapers are built in Garden Hill.

Road Maintenance in Port Moresby
In the other parts of Port Moresby City, the roads were not in good conditions. Like this one on the picture is one of the roads leading towards north-east of Port Moresby. It has been too rough and narrow but now, The Dekenai Constructions rebuilt and opened wide in good condition. Many times, this problem caused traffic jams but now on wards no more traffic jams. The roads of Port Moresby City today are well conditioned because of our newly elected members. Today people of Port Moresby, praising their new leaders because of great changes and fast developments.

Hotel Developments
The Holiday Inn developments are ahead in the eyes of thousands in Port Moresby.
The have introduced two buildings at the same time in 2012 and yet to completed in 2013.
The two buildings are located next to the traffic lights along the Waigani Drive.
This great changes can be known as great business developments in the city of Port Moresby.
More than 40 buildings like this were introduced at this year 2013 all around Port Moresby City.
