The Beautiful Beach Show Down at Ela Beach was hosted by the people of the HIRI, Central Province.
This isn't their first time but every year during the Independence week in the month of September, they usually hosted the HIRI MOALE Festivals.
Thousands of people from the other provinces are invited and involved to celebrate together.
Even the tourists from the other countries are invited and trades with them.

Its natural shinny, smooth and black coloured skins of the original Bougainvillians in Papua New Guinea.
They have showed the real favourite culture dance and thousands of people were entertained.

HAUS MAN The Highlands of Papua New Guinea

The Highlands custom still exists even today especially the people of  Southern Highlands, Hela, Enga, Western Highlands, Simbu Province and Eastern Highlands.
In the Southern Highlands Province, around the Kagua and Erave District, they built different types of houses using the bush materials.
They are; HAUS MAN, HAUS MERI, Family house and Single quarters.

Typical Welcome Program in Trobriand Island Culture is a most adventurous activity proceeds professionally in any special events.
With their marvellous cultural dresses and decorations, visitors are  respectfully welcomed to their beautiful villages .
The events are organized, after the earlier notice of the special guests' visitation programs be held at a particular place.
Likewise, this special program was held in October, 2013 in the Milne Bay Province in Papua New Guinea and a part of displaying the Trobriand Island Culture and Tourism Industrial Program.
Some parts of Papua New Guinea credibly stand firm in their customary principles.
Even today, they don't really care about the modern type of dressing and made such welcome programs to the special visitors and guests because they are not valuation and have no weights.

Different Cultures in Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea, an island country floated on the South Pacific Ocean with its island provinces.
Papua New Guinea is made up of 22 provinces, they are; seven highland provinces, nine coastal provinces and five island provinces and more than 330 districts.
Papua New Guinea environments are absolutely in different forms and beautiful like the following; vegetation, rivers, mountains and valleys.
In the other way, there are thousands of people living in their beautiful villages in remote areas where they have no roads and even plane fields/airstrips.
When ever they need store goods, they started to foot-walk from their home to a town or where they can get things. They walk almost for a whole day or two days to reach that particular place.

Little Cultural Dancer.

A little Papua New Guinean practiced how she could become one of the top participants in her culture and tourism promotions in the future.
This little girl is three and half years old and she is from Tari, the new Hela Province in Papua New Guinea.
The actual facts of the people of Tari/Hela Region is that, from the child hood to the primary level, they have to learn everything about their culture before they send them to kindergarten to primary schools.
They teach them how to look after things, animals like pig and dogs, how to make gardens, look after homes and their safeties.

Primary School Students Celebrates Independence Day.

Proudly Papua New Guineans celebrate their special events using their traditional BILAS dressing or decorations with feathers of Bird of Paradise, Parrots, eagle, cassowary, different types of CUSCUS skins, colourful bush leaves and flowers, beaches, toea shells, BILUM caps and traditional paints.
In Papua New Guinea, we have 807 types of traditional BILAS decorations.
To display all these 807 decorations are during the National events like Mt. Hagen Cultural Show in Western Highlands Province, Goroka Show in Eastern Highlands Province and Wabag Show in Enga Province. They are all in the Highlands Region of Papua New Guinea.

Trobriand Island Girls

What a lovely Trobriand Girls...
The Trobriand Island group of girls who lived around Port Moresby city are displaying and performing their cultural style of dancing.
They wouldn't be 10s but more than hundreds of girls must be prepared to dress in own traditional skirts made of PURPUR (poo-rr-poo-rr) grass.

This young girl dressed in her cultural style of dress. She's from Mt. Hagen Westhern Highlads of Papua New Guinea. She was dressed by her family and sent to the school show at her school in Port Moresby.  All these paints, feathers and other colourful leaves are valuable in their customary rates. We can even say, "A person who have all these things, are declared to be rich in everything." If a particular person have this things, then people from another place must go and hired with money or a large pig for a day.

   

Huli Wigmen

Here are the tribesmen of HULI (hoo-lee) Hela Province Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea.
They live in Port Moresby to promote our Culture and Tourism programs.
Everytime, when you visit Port Moresby and Papua New Guinea, there you can not miss them at Jackson's/Port Moresby International Airport or infront of Big Hotels and Business Houses.
They usualy greet and welcomes foreign and local visitors to Port Moresby City.
They can share you good stories about their culture and customs. They can also share you wigs and very nice traditional artifacts or even paint your face with their traditional paints.
