Special Donation to the People of National Capital District

The People of National Capital District Thankfully Received the ASHOK LEYLAND TRUCK from the Hon. Governor, Mr. Powes Parkop in 2011 in Port Moresby.
This ASHOK LEYLAND Truck was presented to the people of National Capital District.
The population in National Capital District is made by the people of Papua New Guinea itself and other out casts aswel who live around the city.


The donation were made because of people's need to reach their home after work or own activities early as they can.
Many times, over the previouse years, at late hours, people struggle so hard to jump into a PMVs to reach their homes quickly but, those people with bags and heavy cargoes could not jump in actively and waited until night hours.
When no PMVs ahead at late hours, they usually started to walk or catches TAXY cars but when the rates too high, that's another head aches.
 From the walk, they usually arrives at very late hours and not enough time to cook and do any other home activities like students to study and home works.
From there, Hon. Mr. Powes Parkop answered a suggestion question of one of the Honourable Member from the National Capital District and Mr. Parkop succesfully answered with the very good answer and he donated five ASHOK LEYLAND vehicles to look after and serve the people from the different locations in the National Capital District.
One midweek, the people were really surprised to see the Papua New Guinea's flag coloured vehicles were decorated with red, black, yellow and white baloons loaded with many people inside and heard  rummers that; 'those vehicles were donated by the N.C.D.C Governor Mr. Powes Parkop'.
Fortunately, thousands of people were applying thousands of acknowledgements to their Honourable Governor Mr. Powes Parkop and other Honourable N.C.D.C. Members of the National Parliament. 
People were cried and droped their tears of joy that afternoon for ending their struggles in the previouse times and thanked the Lord for the Blessings came down from the glorious heavens.
We thanked Mr. Parkop for his great concern.
