Green Grasshopper in Port Moresby

The little green grasshopper struggles to look for green leaves to eat as its daily survival food. The patterns and colour of this little green grasshopper looks as the green plants. I was so interested in watching of this little thing eaten up all the green plant like bean leaf. I picked up my camera out of my pocket and got a shot on it. The old Pineapple Building

 Just look at this beautiful pattern of this Building.  The pattern looks like a Big Pineapple from the garden. Well, this is not a pineapple but, this is one of the buildings in Port Moresby which was the country's  departmental head offices have been installed. The building sitted on the eight (8) posts. Its unbelievable but it is true. 

Anyway, the very sad story about this building is that; 'during the operation period of this building, the occupants felt that the house was in movable condition and shakes every day.' They have questioned  "why this happened to this house?"Something must be wrong' we better leave this house before we're destroyed. They have deeply discussed regarding this matter and all agreed to leave this building and they have left absolutely. Before, they leave this building, they had a big moan and lastly they had big farewell party and left. They very sadly dislocated every thing from this building and transferred to another building. Today, very, very sadly you can see is only the white skeleton stand still just beside the Morauta House or today we normally say,"Prime Minister's Office." But it never loses its beautiful design and patterns to show that it is still the best of all the buildings in Port Moresby City. The area is restricted and secured. If they catch any one inside, they'll be judged PGK500.00 (US$167.00)spots fine.

The Rolling Stone

The stone that rolled back to its position during the time they built the new free-way 7mile to Ela Beach Down town. It is true story that the contructors dug out this big stone and rolled it away and during night time, the stone rolled back to its own position from more than 100 metres. In the morning, the workers of the road came and see that the stone was back to its position. Even, some of the whites from Australia and other country witnessed that it was true. So, today, they decorated that particular place and surrounded with stone walls and several flowers. When you drive from Down Town to Free-way to Gordons/7mile, you will see that big stone laid on the other side of the road before you reach up the mountain top.

Our environments in Port Moresby,  are looking so beautiful. Not only this but different looking plants, birds and animals, butterflies and insects, rivers, swamps and lakes and more..

This beautiful area you see is well decorated and shaded with some Red Bougaiville flowers. This is not a seasonal flowering plant but continnuous flowering plant even in times of dry seasons. It can be there for 10-15 years if you look after them well. Though, our climate's temperature in Port Moresby is very high about (50-60 degree c) but the land of Port Moresby is well fertiled land so any plant grows very well.

We really like to live in Port Moresby because it is one of the beautiful cities in the world. Very, very enjoyable and lives arround environments of Port Moresby.

 

Some visitors from other country normally say, "THIS MUST BE ONE OF THE EDENS OF EDEN THAT GOD CREATED IN HIS CREATION," but no, its just a city's beauty that people planted.
