Michael Ussa, Lost His Job for 35 Years.

The Former Kokopo East New Britain Police Commander and Superintendent, Mr. Ussa Michael Suffering for very long Period of 35 Years.
Mr. Michael is from Ussa village in Kagua District, Southern Highlands Province in Papua New Guinea.
Today, you will find Mr. Michael at Ialibu Town, a second town of Mendi the main centre of Southern Highlands Province.
Mr. Michael was a first graduated policeman for the people of Kagua and Erave when he was a very active young man in 1973.
Mr. Michael worked very hard in his district including Erave and Kuare for the period of four years and he was appointed as an assistant station commander in Kagua Police Station.

In 1977, he received a call from Port Moresby that; Mr. Michael will be sent to Rabaul East New Britain to be a Police Commander.
Mr. Michael accept the call and flew to Rabaul and worked there as a Police Commander for eight years before he was mentally affected.
In his appearance, ability and capable, he was absolutely very active and he was well respected man by the people of East New Britain and West New Britain during the eight years when he was there.
He was also negotiated with other departmental heads and also the community leaders to work together and bring peace and order in the province.
After the eight years, Mr. Michael felt very weak in his body he was very sick so he was taken to the hospital medical help.
He was checked by the health workers and tested his blood but he was negative to any kind of sickness. He was checked by the other doctors but also the same result.

They were so difficult to find out what kind of sickness were affecting Mr. Michael so they send him to another special medical centres but they also not able to help him so they sent him back to his homeland.

Mr. Michael was sent back to Ussa where he was brought up from and people spread the news about him and they were so worried and questioned, 'WHY THIS MAN WAS SENT TO EAST NEW BRITAIN PROVINCE TO WORK THERE? IF HE WAS STILL HERE IN HIS HOMELAND, HE SHOULDN'T BE AFFECTED BY SUCH SICKNESS LIKE THIS BUT, THERE WAS A FAULT DONE BY THE DIRECTORS IN PORT MORESBY.'
Well, the understanding is this; 
Mr. Michael was not affected by real sickness but something must be wrong in there where he lived and work. Some people said, "Michael was spoilt by the New Britain custom in his work place."
Anywhere, Mr. Michael in 1985 and onwards, he was in hopeless humanity in the community and his family so one silent night, he took a long walk to where his mind was leaded and went all the way to Ialibu, the second town of Southern Highlands Province.
One Saturday morning at Ialibu town, people surprisingly show a stranger wearing a full police commander's uniform with his identification card hanging on his police shirt pocket on his front.
That stranger fellow, did not even say any words to the people because he was lost and he did not know where he was.
One of the leaders at Ialibu town went closer to him and asked him by looking at his identification card,"Mr. Michael Ussa, can you tell us how you came here and we surprised to see you here as a stranger?" He did not say anything so the man asked him over and over so Mr. Michael's tears fall and he sadly told the man and said, "My family and tribesmen reject me because I lost my job." For there, he did not say anything and the man told him, "I understand you and I heard a story about you some weeks ago. Now I tell you, don't go anywhere else, you must be here at our little town Ialibu and look after this place, and you will be son of Ialibu."
When live here, you will see many people everywhere that you will called them your brothers and sisters and they will give you food and money," the man said to Michael.
Today, you will see Mr. Michael with his filthiest uniform at Ialibu and people sometimes gave him food and money but some hate him because they are stubborn.
Very sad that; Mr.Michael lost his good job for 35 years.
