People Excitedly Celebrate the Ministers' open new PGK2million Sabama Market in Port Moresby.

Port Moresby Nort-West residents can now sell food stuff in favourable and hygienic conditions following the opening of their new market.
The Sabama Market was opened by Moresby North-West MP Justin Tkatchenko, National Capital District Governor, Powes Parkop and National Planning Minister Charles Abel.

"This is the start of a brand new day and a new beginning for the Moresby South Electorate," Minister Justin Tkatchenko said.
The PGK2million market was funded through the District Services Improvement Programme with counterpart funding of PGK1million from the Provincial Services Improvement Programme.
He said the was designed by him with the assistance of the Sabama Community for comport, health and safety.
"Over 15 years, the market has been a rubbish dump with conditions fit for pigs. It was a health hazard," he said.
The market will be managed under the Moresby South Marketing Board, of which I will be the chairman.
It will have a manager, ten security guards, eight cleaners and ten community police stationed within the vicinity of the market.
"The market revenue collection has been designed in such a way that we will know how much the market is making. The whole idea is to make revenue to make it self sustaining."
Youth leader, Peter Kelvin said they will do whatever was necessary to attract customers to the market.
"There will be no hold-ups, car thefts and other criminal activities associated with most of our markets in the city," he said.
The Sabama market is not for the people of Sabama alone, the market is for the public arround and outside Sabama areas.
When the Ministers made their speeches accordingly, people were shouting and singing in their own languages and praised to the ministers for their good exalted words and actions to the public of Sabama market.
People joy fully thanked Justin Tkatchenko MP Moresby South, Minister for Sports and Pacific Games, Powes Parkop NCD Governor and Charles Abel MP Milne Bay, Minister for National Planning for their openning of the brand new market and handed over to the people of Sabama and the public.
They said, 'that is your eyelight you express to such people like us and share how much love you have in your heart.' We thank you very much for your concern and God will bless you richly.
