Port Moresby City is made up of seven (7) main centres.They are;
1. Port Moresby Down Town / Ela Beach.
2. Waigani and Morauta Haus
3. Boroko 4 mile
4. Gerehu States 1 to 6
5. 6 mile
6. 7 mile Jackson's International Airport.
7. Hohola.
The other centres are sub-business centres under the above names.
They're; Hanua Badah, Konedobu, Koki, Badili, Kaugere, 2 mile Hill, Sabama, Manu, East Boroko, PRL, 3 Mile, 5 Mile, Kanage Street, Garden Hill, Waigani Drive, Holiday Inns, Gordon's, Erima, Wild Life, Morauta 1 & 2,
