PNG's Independence Celebration Day.

 Papua New Guinea's Independence Day is Every 16th Septembers.
 16th September, 1975 was the time Papua New Guinea got its Independence which seperated from the Colonial Australian Government.
Many times, some parts Papua New Guinea raises their flags in advance to show their interest in preparing their Provincial and National flags to raised them up for the country's celebration.
The 807 language spoken people in Papua New Guinea will display their own cultural decoration and dances to celebrate the raising of our national and provincial flags.
We usually receives thousands of visitors and tourists  from other countries to our country to celebrate together. That is our privilege to have them and mostlly welcomed them in advance.
Our peaceful happy PNG flag coloured birth-day cakes are shared to every one every 16th September in every year.

Artists are very Special Group of People Around the World.
Artists are the very special group of people around the world that, they can create anything you think.
You can not find artists everywhere you live but in a district or even a province of a country, you will find only five or less than that.
In Papua New Guinea, we have less than 6 well known national artists and other 100 are locally known artists.

Defender in World War II

Veteran lays Wreaths for Fallen Comrades.
Retired Sergeant Ben Moide laid a wreath for his fallen comrades as the nation paused to remember our war heroes who defended it in World War II.
Moide was with the Papuan Infantry Battalion who fought Japanese soldiers at Awala village in the first encounter with the enermy.
He is one of the few surviving World War II veterans who attended the celebration at Ela Beach.
Also present was Nepe Kumanyal who was a carrier for the Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels during World War II.
Both veterans laid wreaths to honour their fallen comrades.
Chief guest Governor-General Sir Michael Ogio paid special tribute to Moide's Papuan Infantry Battalion who were the first Papua New Guineans to shoot back during the Japanese attack.
"23rd July is the unique day of Papua New Guinea history where the 35 men of the Papuan Infantry Battalion at Awala village fired the first shots ever in defence of Papua New Guinea," he said."And now we remember their sacrifice and their allies. The challenges to perform their duty to serve this nation was respected by the allied forces and the villagers.

Prisoner William Kapris Put to Death Penalty


The most wanted Criminal, William Kapris was killed by Police from Port Moresby.
The convicted Bank Robber, William Kapris who had been on the run for the last ten weeks, was shot death near Doa village in the Central Province, about 45 km north-west of Port Moresby City.
Mr. Kapris accomplice Raphael Walimini, a convicted murderer, was also killed in the shootout, which ended a massive manhunt by police who had offered a reward of  PGK100,000.00 each for the pair.
Five other people, including two women and a Defense Force Soldier, who were travelling with Kapris and Walimini, have been arrested and locked them up at the Boroko Police Cell in Port Moresby.

PNG supports State of Origin Teams

 PNG proudly supports the Australian Rugby Football League.
Every year in Papua New Guinea, during the three State of Origin games hosted in Australia, people so crazy to support and watch their  favorite teams in their TVs. 
Like this young girl is painting her face with Blue acrylic paint to show that she is a die hard of the New South Wales (NSW) Blues.
She is preparing herself to go and watch her Local Television Guide; which is 'EMTV' the No. 1 Television Channel of Papua New Guinea.

Roads Built Wider

The three lane roads Port Moresby City to 9 Mile are widen up today.
The Government of Papua New Guinea today is working very hard to develop Port Moresby and the country.
This is an example of what is going on today in Port Moresby and Papua New Guinea.
These things should be done during the previous Government's time but they had no creative ideas and also employed wrong advisers to bring new things like this.

PAU locates almost 5.500 kilometers away from  Port Moresby City. It is also the State Land of the National Capital District Commission.
The environment of PAU  looks so beautiful and peaceful.
In that particular land, you will find different types of plants and flowers, birds and animals too.
You will also find beautiful loans, ponds and water lilies their.
They have own vegetable farms, coconuts and other fruit trees.
