They painted in the original patterns and colours of Bird of Paradise. The real given name for this bird in our TOK PISIN (TOCK- PEE-SEEN) is "KUMUL" (COO-MOOL.) Kumul is the only leading bird of all the Birds of Paradise. You may find the other birds of paradise some parts of the world but, you will never find KUMUL anywhere in the world. The only country you find Kumul is Papua New Guinea. (PNG).
