Peaceful Driving

The largest Waigani Drive is starting from Boroko and finished at Gerehu next to the University of Papua New Guinea.
Cars to be drove peacefully without crowds or traffic jams because the road is wide open with six lanes.
The Waigani Drive has four traffic lights and five roundabouts. 
This road have its own specialists to look after and every day and night, the workers up to date to clean up, watering plants, patching portals and paintings.

Port Moresby Experiences More Developments

Along Waigani Drive, at the back of Lakatoi Building is showing foundation of the new building of city's great developments.
 The city continues to see new developments such as buildings and road infrastructures. 
The Government allocates of more funds to National Capital District to increase more developments for the future.

We normally say, " Asians are our Service Providers and our good friends in Port Moresby or even Papua New Guinea."

Animal Participated in Trukai Fun Run.



This little wolffy dog interestingly participated in the Trukai Fun Run among the thousands of people on the event on Sunday morning. She completed her run from the starting point and ended where the finishing line.
As a presentation of her run, they awarded with a carton of Minerer Pure Water and now they are enjoying where her care taker sits.

Prime Minister involved in Trukai Fun Run



The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Peter O'Neill did not sleep well and woke up at 5:00 am to join his peaceful people in the TRUKAI FUN RUN in Port Moresby.

The crowds took so proud of their great leader run with them in their level and understanding. He was pressured by his son and daughter to go for the Trukai Fun Run with their aged mates. The son and daughter of PM waken their father early at 4:30 am and brought him up at the starting point of the run at Sir. John Guise Stadium.
The great leader did not made upset to his son and daughter to run with him among the multitude in the run.
Thousands also happy to see that Prime Minister was involved in the Trukai Fun Run.

At 7:00 am on Sunday 23/06/2013, More than 100, 000 people did not sleep well to go for TRUKAI FUN RUN in Port Moresby.
They have enjoyed well in their run in friendly.
It was secured by our forces like DF and Police so the event goes well.

Crowds prepared for TRUKAI FUN RUN




 Thousands were prepared for the Trukai Fun Run as usual.
This is not a first time in Port Moresby and Papua New Guinea.
In every year in the month of June or July, the Trukai Fun Run must be organized and be held.
Every body must be participated to promote our best and quality Trukai Rice.
The Trukai Industry provides printed yellow Trukai  T shirts for those who take parts in the Trukai Fun Run.

Over Head Bridge at 4Mile.

4 Mile Foot Bridge
Many people today are walking on this bridge as their main path way to crossing to reach on the other side of the road at 4 mile in Port Moresby.
It is not easy to crossing the speed way that drivers used 60 km per hour in the middle of   4 mile which today we call, "Boroko", another part of Port Moresby.
An actual fact of this crossing before, when the bridge wasn't there, many people and animals like dogs have been died and some injured by striking them off by cars and trucks.

Very beautifully the staffs of Tengo Super Market on the 3rd floor at Boroko, Port Moresby displaying all kind of flowers for sale.
It locates at 4 mile / Boroko, National Capital District.

Gordons Market

The Huli (HOO-lee) woman at Gordons Market in Port Moresby making her little sales and marketing to earn money for her needs.
She is specialized in selling whole and sliced Water Melons. In a day, she have to try her best to sell more than 70 or 80 juicy melons.
Displayed are the sliced Water Melons on several fresh banana leaves.

SP BREWERY RENOVATION

This is the South Pacific No.1 Beer factory in Port Moresby which today going on to renovating process.
They are located at the Poreporena and Spring Garden Free Way Road next to Late Unagi Oval.
Previously, the factory have less than eight cylinders to storing up the hot water to produce more drinks, but today they brought in another five X-large cylinders to store more water and produce more drinks of beer.
They have done this because of out going and unlimited stocks every day.

The Lakatoi Boat.

The Lakatoi
Lakatoi is built specially in Port Moresby by the IRI (ee-ree) people of Central Province. Lakatoi is not a house but it's a boat made by bush materials alone. 
Every year during the IRIMOALE Festival conducts, that's the time you will see the Largest Lakatoi floating on the sea loading more than 100 people with their traditional dressing and decorations.
They sing songs traditionally, Dance in Hula-hula (hoo-laa-hoo-laa)style and more attractions are made with their beautiful dressings.

State of Origin in PNG.

The Papua New Guineans proudly given their supports to the games played in another countries by watching life through their TVs and listening life broadcasting in Radios.
Three very special times for PNG to watch and listening are the State of Origin games 1,2 and 3 which played in Australia in every year.
They're, New South Wales (Blues) and Queens Land (Maroons) teams.
In these seasons, the 8,000,000 and plus people of PNG divides in two groups to support the teams.
Half of these eight million supports the New South Wales Blues

Pollution Caused Trouble ..

Cars drove through the thick smoke.
The little town and environment of Erima was polluted by a flame less black smoke for almost 35 minutes. The smoke full of carbon monoxide enter into business houses and into vehicles. Many little children struggle to breath in oxygen but no way because the black smoke spread everywhere in the town.
Lately, after 35 minutes ago, the fire controllers came and put the fire off as back to normal.
Fire Fighters at emergency.
It may call to be a lunatic may burnt all used tyres which were thrown into a private dump without respecting the environment and the people's movement at this little town.

New Roads Built

The new freeway, Erima to 5 mile road were built recently. 
 The Governor of National Capital District, Powes Pakop is praised and boasted by the people of Port Moresby because of such developments like this.



Today, Mr. Pakop is fulfilling his promises and Port Moresby becomes beautiful and great changed.

Government of Papua New Guinea increases penalty for serious crimes. 
Parliament passed amendments to the Criminal Code Act now increases the penalty for serious crime including stealing and misappropriation.

The passing of the Criminal Code Amendment Bill 2013, ensures that; The sorcery act 1971 is repealed in its entirety. Killing connected with sorcery are now treated as willful murder, and the penalty is death.

What a Greatest Shell...

Our creative artists in Port Moresby designed an exact empty shell of shellfish of the sea. Many people around the city of Port Moresby were surprised to see how this empty shellfish were taken out of the sea. In fact, this empty shell was made out of steel by a group of artists in POM city.
It locates at Cameron Hi-way Gordons.


Boom in Development Waigani NCD..

Port Moresby is currently experiencing a boom in developments because of the LNG projects in Hela Province (Southern Highlands.)
An example of that is the building boom in Garden Hill. Lots of building and sky scrapers are built in Garden Hill. 
Garden Hill is located in between Boroko and Waigani or just beside Waigani Drive.
