NCDC Failed to Remove Hundreds of Settlers After 6 days Instead of 14 Days Noticed.

Hundreds of Settlers along Erima to the Art Centre way, next to the National Parliament House and New Zealand High Commission were destroyed after the 6 days instead of 14 days noticed.

Very sadly, at 5:00 am 13th of February, 2014 the NCDC Police Forces waken the settlers by force and told them to remove their things immediately while they were expecting the given 14 days.

Some of the settlers have been there for 30 to 50 years till the properties were destroyed at that moment.
They have no time to get their belongings at that very short period and some of the community leaders were trying to talk on be up of the unprepared people and themselves but police said, "we have given enough time to move out from this area so they wouldn't be any excuses to be heard." We won't have mercy on you people, so you have to move your things immediately" police said.
After some minutes later, two bulldozers drove through the area and started to destroy every thing including houses and other environments.
The community leaders were trying to stop them to give them another 5 or 6 days but they reject them and continued to do what they have planed.
The people were watching on the road sides while the machines destroyed their homes. They were moan and crying when police and the constructors did that.
Many people were worried about their children for their educational life in the primary level, high schools, university and other institutions from the settlements. They said,"that's the only place they lived and continious to go to school their registered schools and from now onwards, where would we take our children and they can finish their education?"
That is only concern we have and we don't know where would we go.
Another option is that; if government set us a place to go and settle, that can be okey but why don't they do that for us?
This is not a communist country, this is a freedom country that government would respect the citizens and move them easilly to another place to go and settle.
This is not an act of peace but this is part of leading a civil wars," they said.
We know what we should do before the 14 days over. We understand and respect their first words of warning to mo out within the 14 days but they shorten the time by 6th day and we were surprised for the unexpected time and ordered us to move immediately.
